How to configure the MXT MXT-140 device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the MXT MXT-140 tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the chip installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. Carrier APN Configuration

It is essential to correctly configure the carrier's APN, as well as the username and password, since this information may vary depending on the chip supplier and the carrier used. For each server, use the last 7 digits of the device ID, replacing 'XXXXXXX'.

2. Transmission Interval Configuration

Set the transmission interval to 60 seconds with the ignition on and 55 minutes (3300 seconds) with the ignition off. The time can be adjusted as needed.

To request the position of the device via GPRS, use the corresponding command.
