How to configure the MT Topten MT05S device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the MT Topten MT05S tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. DNS and Port Configuration

To ensure the proper functioning of the tracker, it is essential to configure the DNS correctly. Use the provided domain for the servers, which are as follows: central.trackar.com.br:6216 for all three servers.

2. Operator APN Configuration

The APN configuration is crucial, as it varies according to the operator and the chip used. It is important to enter the correct APN, username, and password data to ensure the device's connectivity.

The communication time with the ignition on can be adjusted in seconds, allowing you to set the frequency of data transmission. The default value is 60 seconds.

Just like the communication interval with the ignition on, this parameter can be adjusted, but in minutes. The default is 55 minutes, which defines the transmission frequency when the vehicle is off.
