
How to configure the MT MT80i device via SMS
This guide shows how to connect the MT MT80i tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

2. Carrier APN Configuration
It is essential that the APN, username, and password information are properly updated according to the chip carrier used. Each carrier has its specifications.

3. Communication Time Configuration with Ignition On
The transmission interval can be adjusted in seconds. The default value is 60 seconds, which determines the communication frequency while the vehicle is in motion.

4. Communication Time Configuration with Ignition Off
This time is adjustable in minutes and defines the communication interval when the vehicle is stationary. The default is 55 minutes.

These settings are recommended to optimize the performance of the tracker.

1. DNS and Port Configuration
To ensure a stable connection, it is recommended to use the domain's DNS. You must configure the servers as indicated below for the tracker to work correctly.
