How to Configure the MT MT80 Device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the MT MT80 tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. DNS and Port Configuration

For optimal configuration, it is recommended to use a domain DNS. You can set up to three servers with the same URL to ensure connectivity. Use the following command to configure:

2. Carrier APN Configuration

It is essential that the APN, username, and password settings are adjusted according to the specifications of the chip provider and the carrier. Below are the commands that can be used:

SET APN=ALLCOM.BR:ALLCOM:ALLCOM

SET APN=JBGPRS.ALGAR.BR:ALGAR:ALGAR

SET APN=META.COM.BR:VIVO:VIVO

3. Communication Time with Ignition On

The communication time with the ignition on can be adjusted in seconds. The default transmission interval is 60 seconds. Use the command below to set the desired time:

4. Communication Time with Ignition Off

The communication interval with the ignition off can be adjusted in minutes, with 55 minutes being the default. To change this time, use the command below:
