How to configure the MT MT02 device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the MT MT02 tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. DNS and Port Configuration

To ensure your device's connectivity, it is essential to correctly configure the DNS and server port. Use the following address as a reference for the server configuration: central.trackar.com.br:6216. This address should be replicated for the three servers, ensuring a stable connection.

2. Carrier APN Configuration

The correct APN configuration is crucial for the tracker to function. The APN, username, and password information must be adjusted according to the SIM card and carrier used. Below are the necessary commands for APN configuration:

Adjust the transmission interval while the ignition is on. The time is configurable in seconds. The default value is 60 seconds, which determines the device's communication frequency.

Set the communication interval when the ignition is off. This time is adjustable in minutes, with 55 minutes being the default interval. This ensures that the device continues to function even when the vehicle is not in use.
