How to configure the CR CR4000 device via SMS
This guide shows how to connect the tracker CR CR4000 to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the chip installed in the equipment, in the order indicated below.
SMS Commands
1. Sending Angle Configuration
The first step involves configuring the tracker’s position sending by angle. The value to be set varies between 30 and 80 degrees, with the factory default setting being 30 degrees.
A7777AT+ANG=30;
2. Transmission Time Configuration
In this phase, you will adjust the position sending times and the device's sleep mode. The transmission interval, while the ignition is on, is set in seconds, and the sleep time should be configured to optimize power consumption.
AS7777AT+TIMESLOT=60,5,30;
3. DNS and Port Configuration
Here, you must configure the DNS servers and the port that the tracker will use. It is important to ensure that the servers are correct for proper functioning.
AS7777AT+DNS=www.central.trackar.com.br,5248;
AS7777AT+DNS=www.central.trackar.com.br,5248;
AS7777AT+DNS=www.central.trackar.com.br,5248;
4. Carrier APN Configuration
In this step, it is crucial to update the APN, username, and password information, as these details vary according to the chip supplier and the carrier used. Make sure that the information is correct to ensure connectivity.
AS7777AT+APN=allcom.br,allcom,allcom;
AS7777AT+APN=smart.m2m.vivo.com.br,vivo,vivo;
AS7777AT+APN=trasnmeet.br,vivo,vivo;
Special commands
5. Special Commands
Special commands allow for quick interaction with the device, facilitating queries and adjustments. Use them as needed.
AS7777AT+IMEI;
AS7777AT+RESET;
AS7777AT+ICCID;
AS7777AT+HBT=ON;
AS7777AT+HBT=OFF;
The HeartBeat command for light and heavy vehicles is enabled by default, while for motorcycles it is recommended to disable it due to the low amperage of the battery.
