How to configure the Concox G18 device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the Concox G18 tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. Time Zone Configuration

To ensure that the tracker functions correctly, it is essential to set the time zone. This will allow the device to record the correct time when the information is collected.

2. Update Interval

The tracker update can be adjusted in seconds. You can set a different interval for when the vehicle is in motion and when it is stationary. The default interval for movement is 20 seconds and for when it is stationary is also 20 seconds.

3. Angle Update

This setting allows the tracker to update its location based on a specific angle. For example, you can set it to update every 30 degrees and every 2 seconds.

4. Heartbeat

The heartbeat interval can be adjusted in minutes. This determines how often the tracker sends information while the vehicle is on or off. For example, you can set the device to send data every 1 minute with the ignition on and every 55 minutes with the ignition off.
