How to configure the Coban TK905 device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the Coban TK905 tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. Start Equipment Configuration

To initiate the configuration of the tracker, you must send the initial command. This allows the device to start accepting subsequent settings.

2. Set Time Zone

Adjust the time zone of the tracker to ensure that location data is correct in relation to local time. Use the appropriate command to set the desired time zone.

Configuring the APN (Access Point Name) is crucial for the tracker's connectivity. Make sure to enter the correct APN, username, and password information, which varies according to the carrier used.

4. Set DNS and Port

5. Activate Vibration Alarm

Activate the vibration alarm of the tracker so that it can detect any unwanted movement. This configuration is essential for the device's security.
