How to configure the Coban GPS303-G device via SMS

This guide shows how to connect the Coban GPS303-G tracker to the platform using SMS commands. Send each command from the SIM card installed in the device, in the order indicated below.

SMS Commands

1. Start Equipment Configuration

To begin using the device, initial configuration is necessary. This will ensure that all functions operate correctly.

2. Time Zone Configuration

Adjusting the time zone is essential for the tracker to record the correct time. This command allows you to set the desired time zone.

3. Carrier APN Configuration

Configuring the APN (Access Point Name) is crucial to ensure the device's connectivity. APN, username, and password information must be entered correctly, as they vary by carrier.

4. DNS and Port Configuration

To optimize the communication of the tracker, it is necessary to configure the DNS servers. Enter the addresses of the servers as needed.

This command activates the vibration alarm of the tracker, which can be useful for alerts in specific situations.
